Microsoft to end support for long-running writing app after almost 30 years
Microsoft has announced it’s shutting down a long-running app after almost 30 years. The tech giant this week shared it had stopped updating the WordPad app, and it would not be included in any future release of Windows. “WordPad is no longer being updated and will be removed in a future release of Windows,” Microsoft said in a blog post.
