The Super Bowl Halftime Show has been around as long as the competition has , and just like the game itself, it has evolved since it made its debut in 1967. In the beginning, university marching bands provided the entertainment during the halftime break, which was then seen mostly as a time to go to the bathroom or get some snacks. This changed in the 1990s, when popular musical acts began to entertain the audience with a mini-concert. New Kids on the Block The first to break into the scene were the New Kids on the Block , whose performance is often cited as one of the worst . This was not because they lacked talent- they simply did not get the chance to sing their biggest hits as they had to share the stage with a Disney Kiddie choir and Disney characters as part of the tribute to the Super Bowl’s 25th anniversary, which was produced by the Walt Disney Company. Liverpool arrived at the Emirates on the back off a dominant victory over Chelsea, but they left with their tails in between their legs. The Premier League leaders were no match for Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, who roared their way to a well-deserved 3-1 victory that saw Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard all find the back of the net.
