The Colorado Rapids remain on the search for a new head coach since firing Robin Fraser in September, holding talks with potential new candidates including Jack Wilshere.  The Western Conference team are considering Wilshere, according to The Athletic , after he made a strong impression when leading Arsenal 's Under-18 team to the 2023 FA Youth Cup final in his first season in charge. The publication also revealed the Rapids made a formal approach to Arsenal to speak with Wilshere, and have since conducted an interview.  The player turned coach kicked off his career in management on 11 July 2022, taking over the Arsenal Under-18 side just four days after announcing his retirement from playing.
