Liverpool have confirmed Fabio Carvalho will return to the club after terminating his loan spell at RB Leipzig. The Portugal youth international was sent out on loan after a quiet debut season at Anfield following his arrival from Fulham, joining Bundesliga side Leipzig for the 2023/24 campaign. But the Reds have decided to cut short this deal and Carvalho will return to Merseyside. A statement from Liverpool read: "Fabio Carvalho has returned to Liverpool from his loan spell with RB Leipzig. "The attacker comes back to the Reds having spent the first half of 2023/24 in the Bundesliga and made 15 appearances for Die Roten Bullen, whom he had initially joined on a season-long deal.
