The penalties for breaking this rule were handed out on a sliding scale from a warning for a first offence followed by a three-second time penalty and so on. For 2024, any rider who broke this rule was set to face instance disqualification. Meta Platforms said on Tuesday it would hide more content from teens on Instagram and Facebook, after regulators around the globe pressed the social media giant to protect children from harmful content on its apps. All teens will now be placed into the most restrictive content control settings on the apps and additional search terms will be limited on Instagram, Meta said in a blogpost. The move will make it more difficult for teens to come across sensitive content such as suicide, self-harm and eating disorders when they use features like Search and Explore on Instagram, according to Meta. The company said the measures, expected to roll out over the coming weeks, would help deliver a more "age-appropriate" experience. To close up a grey area in the rulebook, MotoGP has enforced a minimum front and rear tyre pressure that rider s must not run below for at least 30% of a sprint and 50% of a grand prix. The rule came into force from the British Grand Prix in August when the new Tyre Pressure Management System was installed. From the outset, riders were unhappy at the forced minimum front pressure being set at 1.88 bar (27.26psi), as it left them little margin to play with before the front became harder to manage once it went above 2.0 bar (29psi).
