The Supreme Court will take up the legality of Joe Biden's student loan debt forgiveness plan

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday said it will take up the legality of President Joe Biden's student loan debt relief plan in expedited oral arguments scheduled for February.

In a one-page order, the court deferred Biden's request to vacate a lower court injunction against the program until the case is argued and decided.

The program remains on hold nationwide.

Lionel Messi was substituted in the 78th minute of Argentina’s 1-0 win over Brazil on Tuesday night, later confirming that he was suffering from a muscular injury . The 36-year-old captained the World Cup winners in a fractious Game at the Maracana. Argentina secured a hard-fought victory but Messi was largely anonymous for much of the Game and was substituted towards the end.
